Renders on white background has the power to highlight the furniture at its greatest.

They allow emphasizing the exact finish of the laminates and fabrics. The least of the detail is shown because there is nothing more that takes away protagonism to what our requester want to show.

Jorge Cagua, the designer in charge of this project, captured the requirements of his client, who by the time to receive the final version, summed in a single word what this render means, "perfection".

Render of The Month: January 2017 #ROM

Render of The Month: January 2017 #ROM

Another render of the month, Renderings community!

We are a company that innovates and always wants to be one step forward on the new trends.. and why not, establish new trends. This time, our render of the month comes hand in hand with a new concept for rendering in white backgrounds.

We’re looking to offer something more than a simple render on a white background.

We want to offer a space designed to liven up the furniture but not compete with them. Click to tweet.

Our client Judy from New York is one of the first clients to make use of this new concept. Her feedback describes what we seek to offer our customers, we quote “This is perfect!”.

The designer in charge of the project was: Juan Arangui.

Open Office: 5 tricks to take advantage of the desing.

Open Office: 5 tricks to take advantage of the desing.
Open Office: 5 tricks to take advantage of the desing.

Today the concept of Open Office is prevailing in the design of new office spaces. Its supporters point out that these spaces foster cooperation among employees, eliminate the barriers imposed by the walls and private offices and increase the productivity and creativity of employees.

If you are looking to redesign your office space or want to get the most out of your open office design, here are 5 tricks that will help you reach and exceed those goals:

  • Furniture that is reconfigured

Use desktops and cabinets that can be reconfigured so employees can work individually or in collaboration. Mobile furniture is a must in an open office design.

  • Different heights

It offers alternatives to work standing or sitting with desks of adjustable heights, this will help increase the levels of energy and proactivity. A study at the University of Sydney found that people who spend 8 to 11 hours sitting daily can increase their chances of dying by 15 percent in four years. Healthy employees are not only more productive, they also show long-term loyalty to the business.

  • Spaces to think

Include in your design small spaces that allow employees to get away from the hustle so they can concentrate on some problem or need a quiet space to think. You can use configurable furniture such as sofas, movable walls or desks that can be arranged in such a way that they can be isolated momentarily from all distraction.

  • Spaces to interact

In my college days, I used to study for exams in the cafeteria or sitting on the benches near the classrooms entry with other students. This exercise is used in so-called social areas in open office designs. Use benches and long tables instead of individual chairs and tables, place them in the rest areas or the snack bar, allow your employees to interact each other and generate great ideas.

  • Freedom of workspace

Designing work spaces where the employee has the freedom to discover what works best for them is another trick that increases productivity. Giving them the freedom to occupy a space that feels best to them instead of assigning one will positively impact their long-term results. Whether in the center of the hustle, near the boss's office or in the cafeteria, letting them choose is needed.

A Viable Market

A Viable Market

In case you are still wondering whether or not to start using Virtual Reality, it is important for you to know that major investments are being done to improve the customer experience.

We at KiSP, are aware that the areas of influence are more by the minute. Just a few months ago, we never even considered doing something on education and... here we are!

Just to remind you of the difference between Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality, here is a piece of article written in The American Genius.

"One of the key characteristics of a truly great VR experience is the user feeling like they are truly in the environment being presented by the technology. In this case, VR completely immerses a user inside a virtual world or experience. This is typically done by using a head-mounted display (HMD) that is often accompanied by other feature or devices that let users navigate through that experience.

On the flip side, AR, such as Google Glass, involves overlaying virtual objects and other types of digital information over the real world, which can be delivered through hardware such as a smartphone, tablet, and HMD. In this way, an AR experience might present relevant information to a user based on where they are or what activity they’re engaged in.

Given the market viability of the immersive technology and continued interest, the future of VR and AR is very real."

What’s Next? Collaborative Offices for Employees

What’s Next? Collaborative Offices for Employees

Many things have changed in the last couple of years and we need to be updated on the latest trend. What was used last year is not the same as this year and here’s why. The necessities of the workers are changing. Therefore, the company needs to be up to date.

Nowadays, a collaborative office is essential and it needs to be a versatile workstation. The main reason of this lies in that workers are no longer required to be stacked onto their desks with their computers and phones. The capacities that technology brings to them is also reflected when you consider the design of an office.

Some of the items to be taken into account are:

  • Adjustable standing desks: This tool it is expected to become more popular as it gives the employees the option of sitting or standing while they do their work providing benefits to health and productivity. These desks are also great at meetings to keep the employees awake and moving.
  • Privacy nooks: If an employee needs to concentrate and work in something quietly, then this is a great option to include. As the private offices will disappear, these nooks are great and they can even be shared by more than one people hence minimizing the space.
  • Soft seating areas: Another option for the old “private office” is common seating areas. They include couches, soft chairs and coffee tables so that co-workers can all seat together and exchange ideas. The idea is to use bright colors to stimulate the employees.
  • Movable furniture: the idea behind this is that you can move the module you are using to any part of the floor. You don’t have an assigned place where you work; you can move anywhere and still be able to do your job.

We, at KiSP, can help you show all of these innovations with our high quality renderings! Get in contact with us and find out more.
